Role Description

This is a rotational role as a Welding Inspector at LEF Ltd. The Welding Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control inspections and ensuring compliance with welding standards. The role will involve performing welding inspections, overseeing quality assurance processes, and conducting various inspections. While the role is primarily located in Lerwick, there may be an element of site based working on local O+G sites as required. Disclosure will be required on completion of successful application to be provided to site for pass being generated.

  • Quality Control and Inspection skills
  • Experience in Welding Inspection and Welding
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications in welding inspection and quality control
  • Experience in the engineering or fabrication industry

Qualifications

  • CSWIP 3.1 minimum (Madatory)
  • CSWIP/PCN Level 2 MPI (Mandatory)
  • 3.1/3.2 Ultrasonic testing (Preffered)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Rotational role 3/3
  • All flights provided to Shetland from any Scottish Airport
  • Accommodation provided
