Resources

The Company currently employs a core workforce of thirty-two with three office staff and two apprentices. Trades employed include coded welders with Company welding procedures for pipe and plate including T.I.G., M.A.W., F.C.G.M.A.W., and a T.I.G/M.A.W mixed procedure, NDT technician (MPI & UT), fitters, machinists, fabricators, blasters/painters and general auxiliaries.

Workshop and equipment

The Workshop at Greenhead Base is a 5,800 square feet insulated steel frame building with 2 x 10 ton and 1 x 12.5 ton S.W.L. overhead cranes and the equipment includes:

  • Huron universal milling machine
  • Elliot lathe
  • Colchester lathe
  • Radial arm drill
  • Hawk oxy/propane plate profiler
  • Enerpak 100 ton hydraulic press
  • 8 x 600 amp mobile weld sets
  • 6 x multi process weld sets (workshop)
  • 5 x m.i.g. weld sets
  • 4 x portable weld sets with wire feeders (for site work)
  • 1 x Kingsland multi 80 steelworker
  • 1 x large band saw
  • 1 x small band saw
  • 1 x l.v.d. 2500mm x 16mm guillotine

Blasting / painting facility

Our paint shop facility covers 3,788 sq ft (352 sq. m), where we can offer a complete service with recyclable metal blasting, metal spray, and paint systems to suit your needs.
